Terms and conditions

Quizzery is a trade name of Bureau Noord, a Dutch sole proprietorship (the same makers as Feastly), and provides an online service with which you build a pub quiz yourself and play it live. Building a quiz is free and works without an account: you get a secret edit link with which you change everything. The trial round (playing round 1 live) is free too. You pay once to play your full quiz live: a host screen for a laptop or TV, where teams play along on their phones and the scores are kept automatically. It is a digital service: nothing physical is delivered.

You can also buy a bundle: three quizzes for one price. You then pay for one quiz right away and additionally receive two credit codes by email. You redeem such a code when paying for a following quiz; credit codes have no expiry date and are not tied to a person: whoever has the code can use it. So keep them safe.

All prices are in euros and include VAT (21%); the invoice attached to your confirmation email shows the breakdown. You pay once and in advance via Mollie (iDEAL and credit card, among others), no subscription (unless you deliberately take out the organisation subscription, see article 10). The price shown with your order is the price you pay. Your confirmation email includes an invoice for your records.

Immediately after a successful payment your full quiz is playable and you receive the host link and your edit link by email. No email received? Check your spam folder or email hallo@quizzery.nl, we'll send the links again.

There are no accounts or passwords: your edit link and host link are your only access to your quiz. Keep them safe and don't share the edit link with others: whoever has the link can change your quiz. Lost a link? Email us from the email address of your order and we'll send it again.

Quizzery delivers digital content that is available immediately after payment. When ordering you expressly agree to immediate delivery and waive the statutory 14-day cooling-off period. This is also stated at the payment button. Did something go wrong with your order? Email us, we'll sort it out.

After purchase your quiz stays online, editable and playable for at least 12 months: you can play it as often as you like. After that we may archive quizzes.

You are responsible yourself for the questions and texts you put in your quiz. Do not post content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. Quizzery may take quizzes with such content offline.

We make every effort to provide a well-functioning product, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage (such as a disrupted quiz night due to an outage). In all cases our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

Besides single quizzes there is a monthly subscription for organisations: create and play unlimited quizzes for a fixed amount per month, collected automatically via Mollie. The subscription runs per month and can always be cancelled instantly with the cancel button in My Quizzery; it then ends at the end of the month you already paid for, and everything keeps working until that date. Quizzes you created during the subscription remain playable afterwards.

Fair use: the subscription is meant for the own events of one organisation. It is not meant for running quiz nights for third parties or other organisations, or for reselling access. In case of misuse we will contact you first; after that we may pause the subscription.

If the monthly payment fails, we retry and you receive an email; if payment keeps failing, the subscription pauses (existing quizzes keep working). We announce any price change at least one month in advance by email, so you can cancel before the next collection. When subscribing you consent to immediate delivery and waive the statutory cooling-off period (article 6); the KOR rule from article 3 also applies to subscription invoices.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. We always try to resolve complaints together first via hallo@quizzery.nl.
